Manual Machine Upgraded into Auto Transfer System for Major Automotive Tier Customer

This project involves transforming an existing manual machine into a fully integrated Auto Transfer System to improve productivity, consistency, and operational efficiency.

Using an Omron Corporation PLC platform, the programmer is developing and optimizing the control system to automate the material transfer process between stations, ensuring synchronized movement, stable cycle time, and enhanced safety performance.

The scope of work includes:

• PLC program development and system modification

• Integration of transfer mechanisms and sensors

• I/O configuration and signal validation

• Interlock and safety logic implementation

• System testing, debugging, and commissioning

By converting the manual operation into an automated transfer system, the project significantly reduces operator dependency, minimizes human error, and increases overall production efficiency.
